GENMA Completes 800t Gantry Crane Lift

Recently, an 800-tonne shipbuilding gantry crane built by GENMA for a leading shipyard in China was successfully lifted into place, marking a new phase of commissioning and delivery preparation.

Compared with previous projects, this lift faced more complex water depth conditions and tighter working space, requiring precise planning and close coordination. Two floating cranes worked in tandem, with lifting points, load distribution and crane positioning all carefully calculated. GENMA worked closely with the customer and the lifting partner throughout — from scheme verification to on-site safety control — ensuring the gantry crane was smoothly positioned and demonstrating strong professionalism and coordination.

The project is now progressing as planned. Next, GENMA will carry out commissioning and related testing in an orderly manner, aiming to bring the gantry crane into operational production as soon as possible and provide efficient, reliable lifting support for the shipyard's shipbuilding operations.
