Successful Keel Laying of the Seventh SPP40 PSV of ROC

At the beginning of Liqiu (the Start of Autumn), ROC's seventh SPP40 platform supply vessel successfully laid its keel, officially entering the critical stage of block assembly on the slipway and the overall hull erection. The achievement of this milestone marks another remarkable "acceleration" for the shipyard on the mass-production track of the SPP40 series, following the successful delivery of the third vessel earlier this month.

Keel laying is a pivotal milestone in the shipbuilding process that bridges the preceding and subsequent phases. It signifies the successful completion of the hull block fabrication work and heralds the project's full transition into the new stage of general assembly and outfitting, laying a solid foundation for subsequent hull shaping and equipment installation.

As an important part of the SPP40 batch construction project, the smooth keel laying of Vessel N1059 demonstrates ROC's robust capability in efficient contract performance. Currently, ROC is advancing multiple vessels simultaneously with high-efficiency construction, with various milestones rolling seamlessly and a compact production line rhythm, continuously setting new benchmarks in offshore engineering equipment construction efficiency.

At present, the vessel has fully entered the continuous erection phase on the slipway.
