Post-Breakbulk Update: GENMA's 3rd-Gen MHC Targets 200-Day Delivery

Language: English España

Fresh from Breakbulk Europe 2026, GENMA CTO Joshua Cui had some exciting news to share: with mature modular design and lean manufacturing now in full swing, the 3rd-generation Mobile Harbour Crane could see its delivery cycle slimmed down to around 200 days — a major improvement over current lead times.

"We're confident in our ability to deliver, backed by the engineering and large-scale manufacturing experience accumulated across the previous two generations," said Cui. He was quick to add that final delivery timelines will always be shaped by specific order requirements, and that the 200-day figure is a realistic target based on today's production and supply chain capabilities.
The 3rd-gen MHC showcased at the GENMA booth comes with several impactful upgrades while keeping the rock-solid reliability of its predecessors: notably faster operating speeds, a next-generation energy management system, and an intelligent health monitoring system. Together, these advancements push the boundaries on efficiency, safety, and reliability, while supporting greener, lower-carbon terminal operations.
"This is a product designed for the future of port handling," Cui added. "Through continuous technology iteration, we want to put faster, higher-quality equipment into our customers' hands."

With Breakbulk now wrapped, the GENMA team is turning its focus to market feedback — and to bringing the 3rd-gen MHC from the exhibition stand to real-world terminals.
