GENMA Secures RTG Retrofit Contract in Colombia and Refurbishment Contract in Kenya
GENMA has recently signed separate contracts with customers in Colombia and Kenya for RTG cranes – a retrofit contract in Colombia and a refurbishment contract in Kenya, further solidifying its service capabilities in the Latin American and African markets.

As a renowned manufacturer of port handling equipment, GENMA places a strong emphasis on ensuring reliable performance throughout the entire lifecycle of its equipment. In addition to new cranes delivery and installation, GENMA’s global service teams proactively conduct on-site visits to systematically assess the cranes that have a relatively long service history, and provide professional maintenance and evaluation reports. Based on these assessments and tailored to customers’ operational conditions and budget, GENMA delivers targeted repair, modification, or refurbishment solutions.
The projects in Kenya and Colombia represent an extension of this service model into overseas markets. GENMA’s after-sales service team will develop phased refurbishment and retrofit plans based on cranes’ condition assessment reports, ensuring controlled execution and traceable results.
Moving forward, GENMA will continue to uphold its service-first, leveraging proactive inspections, digital system support, and flexible cooperation solutions to provide reliable and practical equipment support for customers worldwide.
