ROC Secures Order for 8 LNG Stainless Steel Low-Temperature Fuel Tanks from Overseas Client
Recently, ROC successfully secured a batch order for 8 sets of LNG stainless steel fuel tanks from a renowned overseas client, leveraging its mature core manufacturing technology for LNG low-temperature fuel tanks, extensive delivery track record, and stringent international quality management system. Following a similar bulk project undertaken last year, this new order marks another milestone in ROC’s scaled production of LNG clean energy equipment and its overseas market expansion, further solidifying its leading position in domestic low-temperature storage and transport equipment manufacturing.

The 8 sets of stainless steel low-temperature fuel tanks contracted in this project are designated for a prestigious overseas oil and gas client. Each tank is made of 304 stainless steel, with a single-tank diameter of 8.5 meters, an overall length of 25.4 meters, a design capacity of 1,350 cubic meters, a minimum design temperature of -168°C, and a design pressure of 5.6 bar. The overall design and construction processes strictly comply with international codes such as ASME and NFPA-59A.
ROC has established a mature and comprehensive manufacturing system for LNG fuel tanks, having delivered multiple batches of high-quality LNG fuel tanks to clients including Xiamen Shipbuilding, Matson, and various other overseas shipowners. ROC possesses stable and efficient mass production and delivery capabilities.
Moving forward, ROC will coordinate and optimize resources across material procurement, workshop capacity planning, and terminal logistics to steadily advance the orderly production of this project, and continue to support the global shipping industry's green and low-carbon transition with its robust manufacturing strength.
