KOCH Solutions Service has commenced a comprehensive refurbishment project for ArcelorMittal Liberia

The project involves the complete overhaul of the SL10000 shiploader, originally delivered by thyssenkrupp in 2013/14 but never put into operation. The customer opted to transport the machine from Buchanan, Liberia to Jebel Ali, UAE, and selected KOCH Solutions Service as their service partner—leveraging the company’s technical expertise and intellectual property rights related to the original design.

From the outset, the service scope has included design and calculation of the sea fastening concept, engineering support for transport and handling, and close collaboration with logistics and surveying partners.

This project marks another strong demonstration of KOCH Solutions’ capabilities in large-scale port equipment services and technical execution.
