ROC's Fifth Platform Supply Vessel Successfully Reaches Keel-Laying Milestone
On December 5th of 2025, the fifth SPP40 Platform Supply Vessel, N1057, built by ROC, successfully held its keel-laying ceremony at its No. 2 slipway. This milestone marks the vessel's official entry into the critical construction phase of the slipway, adding another achievement to the construction progress of the series.

Since its commencement in September this year, ROC has actively advanced various aspects of the project. Drawing on the valuable experience gained from the previous four vessels, ROC has taken a forward-thinking approach, controlled key processes, and optimized production workflows. By strengthening communication and collaboration with shipowners and surveyors, ROC has enhanced quality control throughout the entire construction process, ensuring that every stage meets high standards. This approach has successfully achieved a balance between construction speed and quality.
Currently, of the five SPP40 series vessels, three have completed the launching, one is in the outfitting and erection stage, and the first vessel is preparing for sea trials. All projects are progressing steadily according to schedule.
As the fifth vessel in the series, the successful keel-laying of N1057 vessel marks the launch of the project's final push. Recently, ROC has achieved multiple key milestones and received frequent positive updates on production, demonstrating its outstanding capability in batch construction.
